New Yorker’s flock to Florida for a dose of self-quarantine in comfort.
The latest trend among the wealthy American’s on the “self-quarantine” mission due to the coronavirus spread is to escape the dangers of the urban city centers of the world to a safe haven, controlled environment, with their immediate family, until life returns to normalcy. For those who can afford the latest, greatest trends, embracing “isolation” from crowded subways, busy epicenters and congested neighborhoods is way easier than even the head-to-toe, black-on-black wardrobe movement.
Like the HomeAway or VRBO dream vacation get-a-way’s advertised, the affluent are choosing to retreat to those dream homes in the sun, with everything from heated pools with giant floaties to endless palm trees, in less populated cities and neighborhoods. While in isolation, life goes on as normal as possible with grocery deliveries from Publix, backyard bar-b-ques, movie nights and long walks along the golf course or the beach for exercise and mental therapy. Working from home is a given, and even keeping up with an education has shifted from classrooms to computers across the country.

For the truly trendy, charter flights to your “safe-house” of choice departing daily from an FBO near you!
